Our Mission & Vision

VISION

We the members of this Association believe:

• People are happier and most effective in a positive relationship.
• Developing skills and techniques for handling interpersonal relationships is a desirable objective.
• It takes real effort to develop new skills and those new skills represent a type of personal growth.
• If these skills and techniques are misused, they will lose their effectiveness in the hands of the misuser.
• A mutually satisfactory relationship requires you to work at it to maintain it.
• Modifying your behavior to improve an interpersonal relationship does not show a lack of sincerity or a desire to control. Quite the opposite, it shows respect for another person's right to be unique.
• Modifying your behavior does not contradict your beliefs or alter your own identity.
• In the greater scheme of life, others are at least as important as you are.

We believe that differences in human behavior create natural obstacles to clear interpersonal communication. Those differences often block understanding between people. True Colors provides a clear, fundamental and universal way of translating complicated individual perspectives to help overcome the barriers to progress. We believe that establishing a firm foundation in the knowledge and language of True Colors will:

• create a common voice for relating to one another,
• help develop stronger leaders,
• create synergy in a more accepting and supportive environment,
• increase communication and collaboration, and
• enhance the learning environment and our individual quality of life.

It is the goal of this association to provide opportunities for promoting and developing cooperation between members; to develop a high degree of professionalism in the facilitation of True Colors workshops and seminars; to promote research and the exchange of information needed to continually develop our knowledge of True Colors and it's use in improving interpersonal communication; and to extend assistance to members in the development of areas of professional expertise.

MISSION

It is the mission of the members of this association to increase the use of the True Colors personality typing system throughout the world.
